Minimal

Barcode.new does not display ads, doesn't set cookies, doesn't ask you to create an account, and generally has very little fluff. It's deliberately minimal.

Fast

Generating a barcode should be instant. It should especially not involve server round-trips. Barcode.new generates barcodes directly on your device, using a combination of JavaScript and WebAssembly, and the amazing Zint library.

High quality

The output quality of a barcode generator matters, as it affects readability. Barcode.new allows exporting barcodes in the SVG vector format, preserving fidelity.

Comprehensive

There are many different types of barcodes, not just UPC and QR Code. Barcode.new supports 57 different symbologies.

Privacy

Barcode generation happens fully on your device. No barcode data is sent to our servers. We hate cookie banners, so we don't use cookies. We have zero interest in tracking you. We use Plausible Analytics, an Open Source, cookie-less and privacy-preserving Analytics solution to gather high-level visitor stats.
